ATLANTA, GEORGIA - The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league in the world wraps up their 2022 Regular Season with PFL 6, featuring crucial contests in the women’s lightweight and welterweight divisions. In the headlining bout, 2021 PFL Women’s Lightweight Champion Kayla Harrisonmeets fellow American Kaitlin “The Striking Viking” Young.

Harrison, who came in at 155.6-pounds, will look to return to the PFL postseason for the third straight year and continue her mission of becoming a three-time PFL champion. At PFL 3 back in May, Harrison defeated Marina Mokhnatkina by unanimous decision to earn three points in the women’s lightweight standings. Young, meanwhile, weighed in at 155-pounds and will be making her 2022 PFL season debut. This will be Young’s second season with the PFL, previously competing in the 2021 PFL Women’s Lightweight tournament. She comes in with a wealth of experience, having faced a who’s-who of women’s MMA greats.

In the co-main event, former world champion Rory “The Red King'' MacDonald meets Sadibou “The Swedish Denzel Washington'' Sy in a welterweight bout. MacDonald weighed in at 170.8-pounds as he tries to book back-to-back appearances in the playoffs. MacDonald got off to a strong start in the 2022 Regular Season, picking up 6 points off a first-round submission of Brett Cooper. Also targeting a second-straight semifinals berth is Sy, who came in at 170.2-pounds. Sy was successful in his 2022 Regular Season debut, defeating Nikolai Aleksakhin by split decision to earn 3 points.

Also on the card, 2021 PFL Welterweight Champion Ray “Bradda Boy” Cooper III (170.4 lbs.) meets Brett “Fudoshin” Cooper (170.4 lbs.) and 2021 finalist Magomed Magomedkerimov (170.8 lbs.) meets PFL Challenger Series standout Dilano “Postman” Taylor (170.8 lbs.) in a pair of must-see welterweight matchups.
