Impa Kasanganay's 2023 run is a perfect Hollywood plot. He started the year in the Challenger Series earning a spot on the roster. He returned quickly for a showcase bout against Cory Hendricks. Then, the big call came and he officially entered the season and had 1 fight to earn enough points to qualify for the 2023 PFL Playoffs, and he didn't disappoint. In the semifinals, Impa made quick work of perennial contender Marthin Hamlet. Finally, Impa put on a dominant 5 round performance and claimed his 1st PFL World Title.
